WHY START A MENOPAUSE OR ANDROPAUSE PROGRAM AT NEOLIFE?

From the age of 40, the symptoms of aging become more noticeable, often appearing earlier and negatively affecting many aspects of our lives. This is largely due to a decline in hormone levels.

Neolife offers optimal management of this hormonal imbalance, ensuring long-term effectiveness and safety. For over 10 years, we’ve been providing our patients in Madrid and Marbella with the best available options, which have consistently delivered successful results.

Hormonal deficiency

Adult male androgen deficiency is caused by low testosterone levels, which are associated with a series of symptoms: irritability, sadness, loss of muscle mass, decreased sexual desire, worsening of erection quality, fatigue, and lack of vitality. These hormone-related issues don’t stop there—they are clearly linked to certain health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, fall risk, osteoporosis, depression, aggressive prostate cancer, metabolic disorders (type 2 diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia), and neurodegenerative diseases.

On the other hand, the symptoms caused by a lack of female hormones such as estradiolthe progesteron and the testosteronewhich we address in our treatments menopauseare numerous and varied: hot flashes, mood swings, depression, anxiety, irritability, weight gain (fat), muscle loss, vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse, loss of libido, urinary incontinence, memory issues, difficulty concentrating, insomnia… in addition to less noticeable effects such as increased cholesterol levels, insulin resistance, higher cardiovascular risk, loss of bone mass, and cognitive decline associated with Alzheimer’s disease, among others.

BHRT

What are the steps to begin a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) program at Neolife?

  1. Completion of a preliminary questionnaire, after which our medical team will assess whether you are a suitable candidate and determine which biomarkers need to be tested.
  2. Initial consultation, where a personalized prescription for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy will be made.
  3. Start of the hormone treatment prescribed by our medical team.
  4. Ongoing monitoring and treatment maintenance. After the initial 4–5 weeks, a blood test will be requested to assess the early results. From there, blood tests will be scheduled every 3–5 months, with intervals adjusted to each individual’s needs. These results will be used to personalize the next phase of treatment.
