Your cells are in danger!

The excesses of the Christmas period damage our health, increase toxins that damage our body, and as a consequence, speed up the ageing of cells.

It is here that the importance antioxidants have on our body becomes even more clear cut, as they help us to neutralize free radicals and put an end to cell damage. Antioxidants can be found in food – some of the healthiest options would be: garlic, kale, spinach, plums, pomegranates, raisins, blueberries or turmeric – or of course, food supplements – Ubiquinol and Melatonin being some of the highest sources of antioxidants.

Studies into Oxidative Stress allow us to identify with precision the extent of cellular damage on the human body.

After such festive periods, our bodies have often been exposed to innumerable excesses: food, drink, tobacco, alcohol… and excesses such as these harm our health without us hardly even realizing, by increasing toxins that damage our body and as a consequence, speed up the ageing of cells.

To cleanse our bodies and recover from this imbalance, at Neolife we are committed to a comprehensive and personalized treatment, where food education, together with exercise, sleep and a personalized supplementation, form the foundations which will reverse your damaged cells.

Antioxidants - Your cells are in danger

The cells that make up the human body have been subjected to nutritional imbalances, which lead to a greater formation of free radicals and toxins. In high amounts, these can cause great damage to our cells and put our health in great danger as they can give rise to diabetes-related complications, hardening of the arteries and cellular inflammation, amongst many other diseases.

This is where antioxidants really come into play. Whether through food or through supplements, antioxidants help to neutralize free radicals and put an end to cell damage.

Thanks to ORAC values (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity), created in 1994 by Researchers at Tufts University, we are able to quantify the antioxidant power of food. These values, despite their limitations, remain the benchmark for quantifying absorption capacity. On the database, foods at the top of the list are the healthiest and are those which should be part of a balanced diet. They stand out for their high levels of Ascorbic Acid aka Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Carotenoids and Polyphenols, which protect proteins, lipids and carbohydrates from oxidative damage.

It is therefore essential to include foods in our diet such as garlic, kale, spinach, plums, pomegranates, raisins, cranberries or turmeric, and antioxidant supplements such as Ubiquinol or Melatonin – that has been previously studied, analyzed and formulated for each individual. This helps carry out an integral antioxidant treatment preventing diseases associated with the ageing process.

At Neolife we are aware of the damage our cells have suffered after the excesses of the holidays, so in order to reverse this deterioration, we employ personalized studies that determine cell damage with upmost precision. This is the case with our Oxidative Stress study, a treatment that is always accompanied by a balanced diet and supplementation, adapted and personalized to each individual.
